The youth who were inspired by Swami Vivekananda, India’s ex-President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and guided by Gandhian Dr. S. N. Subbarao have come together to form the voluntary youth organization, Yuvaan on November 1, 2013.

Our Mission is to provide underprivileged including orphan, nomadic and tribal students educational fees, material, career guidance, vocational skills training, counselling and lodging and meals as the need be free of cost.

Our Vision is to inculcate social sensitivity, brotherhood, love for the country and a humane perspective without any discrimination.

Youth Empowerment Centre

According to government rules, orphans have to leave the orphanages after they are 18 years old.Their dreams remain unfulfilled as they step out into the world without any hope of support. They are forced by their circumstances to take up any kind of job they get in order to earn their living even though they would like to take up higher education. Many socially and economically underprivileged students are also deprived of equal opportunities of education and employment. The Dr. S.N. Subbarao Youth Empowerment Centre provides full residential support to such young students.

Skill and Career Development Center

Centre for Skill Career Development is providing unemployed youth training & career guidance for employment in Government and Private sectors. The Centre have well equipped Library & Study room facility. The Library has 1500+ latest & excellent books on all types of Competitive exams including UPSC, MPSC, Police, Railway, Bank etc with several magazines & newspapers also. The centre organizes inspiring lectures of UPSC, MPSC toppers and senior Government officials under PRERANA initiative. There are thousands of students benefitted by the Prerana programs and given their life a better direction.

Yuvaan Sevavrati - Volunteering

Yuvaan is building up the youth and inculcating in them social sensitivity, love for the country and a humane perspective without any kind of discrimination. The Yuvaan Sevavrati (Volunteers) program is aimed at bringing about positive change by channelizing the energy of youths. Through this programs the youth are provided with opportunities to to contribute in various social activities as Yuvaan Volunteers. Yuvaan Sevavrati enriches and deepens the awareness of social responsibilities among the youth and inspires them to lead a life of hope. ‘Yuvaan’ believes that by increasing the participation of our youths in nation building activities we can surely realize the dream of a developed India.

I was raised in an orphanage since I was a small child. I did not have any kind of support after I had to leave the orphanage according to the rules. At that point of time, Team Yuvaan extended a helping hand to me. They took up my responsibility for further skill education. I have since then, again begun to dream about change in my life.

Ms. Bhyagyashri Surywanshi B.E.

I completed my Diploma from Women’s Government Polytechnic, Latur with the help of my teachers. I was apprehensive whether I would be able to go on to procure a degree because of my critical family situation. The only option that I could see available to me was to take up a job to earn my living. At that point of time Team Yuvaan extended a helping hand to me for further education. I just have completed my degree in Computer Engineering with first class and distinction. I wish to be an active member of Yuvaan and sponsor the education of a needy student in the future.

Sandip Kusalkar is the founder & President of Yuvaan. He comes with deep grassroots level experience of working with children, women and young people for over 12 years. He is passionate about his work and always optimistic in every condition. He attracts & involves people especially young people in his work with his few unparalleled qualities. Sandip has completed his Master degree in Social Work (M.S.W) from Tilak Maharashtra University, Pune.

Suresh Maid is co-founder & Secretary of Yuvaan. He is Co-founder of a local Press Photographer Association also. He is active member of renown social movement & organization like Rashtra Seva Dal, Anna Hazare’s led Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan, Photographer association. He is very energetic & active social worker. By driving his business Suravi Digital Photo Lab, he draws his valuable time for Yuvaan’s constructive work also. He completed his Master Of Journalism (M.J.) degree from Pune University.

Prasanna Bora is co-founder & Asst Secretory of Yuvaan. He runs a well known Catering firmby profession. He is very energetic & keep the team spirit alive always. He is graduated from Pune University & Diploma Holder in Catering Services. His whole heart support to Yuvaan’s activities makes it effective & remarkable.

Rakesh Gore is a engineering graduate (I.T) but having very deep social conscious. He did various innovative social activities with his engineering studies at college level. He is a dreamer & believer in constructive work. He actively involves &motivate his friends also in nation building activities.

Adv. Vinayak Sangle is a trustee & legal adviser of Yuvaan. He has 18 year experience in legal field. He works in Ahmednagar District Court. He is vice president of Ahmedngar NGO’s Aid Bar Association& also works as Notary. He completed his Law degree (L.L.B.) from Pune University.

Satish Yeole is a trustee & core volunteer of Yuvaan. He is self motivated & dedicated towards social cause. He completed his B.C.S. (Bachelor Of Computer Science) from Pune University.

Mrs. Varsha Mule Kusalkar is a Structural Engineer & has completed her Master degree in Engineering (M.E.) from Pune University. She is working as a core volunteer since last 5 years with team Yuvaan. She is sensitive & enthusiastic team member of Yuvaan. She shares her time, knowledge, skill for Yuvaan’s activities regularly.

Ms. Snehal Sabale completed her computer engineering degree (B.E.) from Pune University with distinction. She is working with team Yuvaan since her college days. She has deep social conscious & always give her valuable time, share her knowledge & work dedicatedly for the task given to her. She is working as a Software engineer in Pune.

Zaheer completed his BAMS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences RGUHS Bangalore and P.Hd. from Nagpur. He does his professional medical practice at Ahmednagar & works as a guest lecturer for many colleges & University.

Ms. Sonali Kale completed her mechanical engineering degree (B.E.) with distinction from Government Engineering College, Avsari Dist. Pune. She is working as volunteer with team Yuvaan since her college days. She is sensitive & dedicated towards her work.
